Sixth Annual Fish Auction
Hosted by Bill & Sally Weir
The event was attened by over 30 enthusiastic bidders for some fabulous koi. Mickey Stonepainter provided over 40 koi including one gigantic guy.
Mickey explained the various varieties including Tancho (red spot on head), Kin-Gin-Rin (reflective metallic gold or sliver scales). There were also other unique koi up for bid. The spirited bidding was led by our able auctioneer Gil Orris and over half of the attendees took home new additions for their ponds. The large koi was over 15 inches. He generated the most interest and went to a great new home.
The food, koi store, weather and the people all contributed to a great fun event. If you missed it be sure to mark your calendar for next year.
