New members and guests are always welcome. There is no requirement to have a pond or water garden to attend an event or join the club. In fact, many of our members do not have a pond. They come to learn the "dos and don'ts" from our members and visiting experts before beginning construction.
The annual dues for membership is $25 per year (June 1-May 31) per household. For new members the dues are prorated to the following schedule:
Jan. $35, Feb. $33, Mar. $31, Apr. $29, May $27, Jun. $25, Jul. $23, Aug. $21, Sep. $19, Oct. $17, Nov. $15 and Dec. $13.
For example, a new member who joins in June pays $25. A new member who joins in December pays $13 and will then need to renew in June. A member who joins in January will pay $35 and won't need to renew until June of the following year. The dues go toward the cost of educational and social events, stipends for speakers, etc.
